Bromsgrove 2011 Conference Fee

    For Positive Money supporters

The landmark 15th annual Conference of the Bromsgrove Group will be held from late Friday afternoon 14th October, to Sunday lunchtime 16th October 2011, at the usual venue, country house Barnes Close, just outside Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. You can read about previous Conferences via the link on the top right of this page.

We are pleased to be able to offer the few remaining places to Positive Money supporters in the surrounding area.

Attendance is only possible by pre-booking, as below, and attendees are required to make two payments.

First Payment: Conference Fee (payable now)

Firstly, there is a Conference Fee, which is payable now, when booking your place. This confirms your place and it is payable directly to the organiser of this event, the James Gibb Stuart Trust. This Fee goes entirely towards the costs of organising the Conference, and is non-returnable. You can use the PayPal buttons below, or you can send a cheque to the organiser, as detailed below.

As soon as the organiser receives your payment they will contact you to confirm your place. They will stay in touch with you in order to ensure you have all the information you need.

Please note again, it is not possible to simply “turn-up” on the day. Attendance is only possible by pre-booking.

Second Payment: Venue Fee (payable on the day of attendance)

Secondly, there is the Venue Fee which is payable directly to the hosts who run the venue, “The Community for Reconciliation”. This fee is payable on the day of your attendance. Do not pay this Fee at this moment. Rather bring your money (cash or cheque – no plastic) and pay at the Conference, as detailed below.

This Fee includes the cost of your room, bedding, breakfast, lunch and dinner, waitress service, all tea and coffee, all facilities, and the hire of the entire venue. The James Gibb Stuart Trust has negotiated a special deal with the hosts to ensure the prices, detailed below, are as low as absolutely possible.

    CONFERENCE FEE  (payable now)

The Conference Fee for a residential place, for either two nights or one night, is £80.

The Conference Fee for a non-residential place, attending only during the days, or a day only, is £50.

VENUE FEE (payable on the day of your attendance)

    The rates are as follows.

    Residential:

For the entirety, late Friday afternoon to Sunday lunchtime, two nights and all meals, £107 per person.

One night and one meal, £70.

    One night only (24hrs), £55.

    Non-Residential:

Full attendance during days only, with meals (Friday evening to Sunday lunchtime), £83

Attendance for two days, with meals (Saturday and Sunday), £60

One full day including lunch and evening meal, £36.

Please note, as stated, these Venue Fee payments will be due on the day of your attendance, and will be payable to our hosts who run the venue, either with cash or cheque (no plastic). Do not pay at this moment.

If your planned attendance time doesn’t fit exactly into one of the categories above, then you should be able to work out the likely cost, from the figures above.
